After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Mexico, lives had to change as lockdown was implemented to avoid massive infections, so people had to live their lives from home.

In light of that, Congregación Mariana Trinitaria promoted the “Program of Supportive Contribution for Technology and Connectivity” to benefit people being affected by the pandemic stage. This way, they were able to continue with their activities related to school, attention to healthcare, as well as their professional and productive activities.
This program is aimed at providing supportive contributions that encourage having access to electronic devices and connectivity resources for vulnerable people who need support, especially people living in areas where we find severe educational and social deprivations. The objective is to benefit a total number of 20 million 846 thousand 650 families.

Our program provides support to get:

  • Desktops and laptops
  • Tablets and smartphones

People are able to get up to 30%of the total value of electronic devices. Additionally, the connectivity program helps beneficiaries to pay up to 80% of the total amount of annual expenses made on data and voice services to have an efficient connection.
