History of CMT

The dream of ensuring welfare that Dr. honoris causa Catalina Mendoza had, became true after creating Congregación Mariana Trinitaria as a civil society on February 18, 1997. In the beginning, she had the idea of a Volunteers’ Board aimed at providing health assistance to people, in tandem with responsible encouragement of social and human development. During 26 years, this work still replicates among thousands of families in Mexico, and all over the 17 countries it is currently present.

Attached to the principles and legacy our founder left; which are mainly based on listening, living, and feeling people’s needs; we have been able to benefit millions of people due to the foundations of our “CMT Welfare Ecosystem Model”. It is a result of several years of experience and direct alignment to international objectives so as to eradicate poverty and social deprivation through a person-centered approach. This ecosystem consists of 11 networks aimed at promoting human welfare by means of different integral solutions adapted to solve the most common needs of people and communities.
